Russia: Prosecutor General's Office rejects links to Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer meeting

Russian Prosecutor General’s Office representative Denis Grunis stated that it was "insane" to think that Russian Prosecutor General’s Office would be involved in arranging a meeting between private Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and Donald Trump Jr, speaking in Moscow, on Friday.

The head of the international cooperation department of the Prosecutor General’s Office Grunis stressed, "The Office of the Prosecutor General does not share information with individuals in the US. Such contacts can only happen through official channels - as stipulated by international agreements - and after a formal request, submitted by a prosecution agency."
